Before firing the parts cannon, aim well, then fire the parts derringer.
Clean or replace MAF sensor and MAP sensor.
Some transmission issues are in fact throttle position sensor issues. Is it working properly after 213k miles?
If your coolant temp sensor is intermittently connecting and disconnecting,
your fueling and spark could be alternating between closed loop and open loop,
which could cause bucking and jerking.
Although I doubt it's the fuel filter, it should be cheap and quick to replace,
just don't be surprised when it's not the problem.
What about the cam and or crank position sensors?
It likely needs scanning IN REAL TIME while you're driving if there are no codes.
