Is the oem unit even worth selling. Does the buyer have to have it programmed by the dealer?

Yes, to the new VIN. If I wasn't always on the hunt for toilet paper and having to buy new lawn equipment I'd buy it from ya Sean. Maybe in the fall if you still have it.
