Would love to see the pricing on the following build -
Yukon Denali
4WD
Iridium
Cocoa/Dark Atmosphere
Open Road Package
Appearance Package
20" standard wheels

I'm not 100% sold on the appearance package (isn't it just the retractable running boards and ACC?) so if you can tell me what that option is so I know what to subtract out if I opt against it, that would be great! Thanks!

MSRP -- DEALER INVOICE
2015i Yukon Denali 4WD (5SA + AVF) - $66,770 -- $62,096.10
Open Road (PCJ) - $2760 -- $2428.80
Appearance/Premium Package (PCX) - $3165 -- $2785.20

The adaptive cruise IS available on the SLT separately. Perhaps give up the 8-speed in lieu of the adaptive cruise and fixed boards? (lol...ya right)

LOL..
Really?

Maybe I'm spoiled. My Ford F-350 Powerstroke was dynode at 579/1181 hp/tq to the ground, and that's my daily driver.
So when I drive my wifes sled, its a little disappointing.

I guess power isn't something that you value as much as me.
Well folks, it's not about horsepower in an aerodynamic brick, heavyweight sled like this.. It's about torque to weight.
And 383lbs. vs. 460lbs of torque is night and day.

The 5.3L simply can not handle overdrive ratios at speed unless the road is flat. Toss in a hill at 75, and you are shifting to maintain speed, especially if its windy.
I drive the Buffalo to DC regularly, and if you aren't familiar with I-76 in PA, it will bring out the warts in an underpowered vehicle...

You cant GIVE me another 5.3L. I guess some of you guys can settle, but I simply don't have to and won't..

I've wife has had two Tahoes and I have one in my Silverado. We never traveled as much in the pass, and never as much to DC.
The lack of torque isn't as noticeable in the light pick up, but add the extra weight of the SUV, and it's something I wouldn't buy again.

No offense guys, its my opinion. I value power.
But when the 6.2l 420/460 becomes available, you won't see me ever buying another underpowered 5.3L again.
