Any idea as to when they'll open for ordering? I've hear mid-September get thrown around but at this point OP has supplied the most info so far.

I just don't get it. How they can change that much within a half year. This stuff should have been thought of before launching the new version.

Wow, these add-ons will highly impact the MSRP. Seems like the Denali will push closer to 80K now with much of this stuff standard.

I have been tracking all of this with my local dealer which is very large and they say minimal MSRP change.

"Along with the Platinum model, all 2015 Escalades are receiving OnStar with 4G LTE connectivity and inductive wireless device charging. All Escalades will also received the new eight-speed automatic and a hands-free power liftgate feature.

The additions are adding $1,275 to the Escalades base price of $73,965, while the new Platinum will set buyers back by a cool $90,270 including a $995 shipping charge."
