Everything was pretty straight forward! Supported front of truck by cross member forward of axle. Lowered the cross frame (4bolts), incliped 4wd actuator connector, removed axle bolts to lower axle down (4 bolts). Removed 2 starter bolts and moved starter out of the way, disconnected oil level sensor, disconnected front wire harness bracket, and side transmission cooler line bracket. Removed oil pan bolts, and pulled a little on the axle to lower it down as far as possible to rest on brackets! Out the pan came.
Pan had a little bit of sludge in the bottom but not bad for first time out since it rolled off the show room floor in 2004. Replaced oil pump pickup tube O-ring and went to install pan! Back corner by the oil filter snapped right off on the finger tight part.
