2004 Yukon 165,000 Oil Pressure gauge and Temp gauge stopped working over the summer, now all a sudden i'm getting "low oil pressure" warning, added a qrt of oil now its full and getting the same warning, going to change my whole cluster to fix the Temp and Oil pressure cause it needs to be changed anyway (majority of the lights are out along with temp and oil gauges pegged) my question is would I still get the warning signal if the gauge is just reading incorrectly or how could I tell one way or the other????HELP

I had the same issue with mine dropping all of the sudden on my 07. same thing, oil was full, etc. I read somewhere that maybe it had to do with my oil filter. changed my oil again and it was all good. maybe something to try.

Just bought a 2007 Yukon Denali; had it for a week and one day while idling in traffic, oil pres. dropped to 0 and dic said low oil pressure - stop engine; got to where I was going; had dinner, came out and started it, everything was fine. It has happened twice after then. Is it defective sensor?
