Many auto parts stores will "rent" tools, including fuel pressure gauges. Essentially you give them your credit card and they charge you a certain amount, then you use the tool and return it in the time allotted and they refund your card, usually in full. If you keep it too long, well, you bought it. Makes it easy for a 10-minute test without having to buy the tool.

Try cycling the ignition off and back on 3 or 4 times. Wait 4 or 5 seconds between cycles. I'm suspecting a failing fuel pump. Giving it a couple primes might make it start right up if so. Maybe.....
I will try to wait longer than I did between cycles to let it build up better, seemed to start a little easier though

I recently drove to Florida and half way there my 2007 5.3 Flex Tahoe was hard to start. The truck acted like the starter would not disengage when attempting to start. I thought of the lock cylinder so I tried with the remote, and it also had the same issue, like the starter would not disengage, but there is no grinding with this issue. It makes me feel like the truck doesn't realize it has started and continues to try. I have replaced the starter, purge canister valve, oem battery ground wire to engine and body. I also ran another ground from the firewall to the alternator and pulled the engine fuse box out and cleaned all the contacts and slightly rubbed dielectric grease on all the connections. I also put a bottle of HEET in the tank. I have no CEL on, it just takes about three tries to start and then it runs absolutely perfect, 172,000 miles.
Here is my set up

Good idea, I'm leaning toward a fuel pump but I need to check the fuel pressure

I have a 2007 Yukon 5.3L FF (LMG). If it were my truck, I would be thinking my fuel pump is about to go south.

If you can get ahold of a fuel pressure gauge (you may be able to borrow one or rent one cheap at your FLAPS, a quality new one costs like $30 so don't pay a lot for a rental), drain off the residual pressure in the line at the Schader valve with the blade of a screwdriver (on the passenger side fuel rail) and hook it up. Turn the key on once (on not start) and leave it on, go check the pressure. It should read between 50-60 psi. If it doesn't, you likely have a failing fuel pump.
Okay def my next step, I may just buy one my wife has an older f150 I'm sure I'll use it again

In your initial complaint about the problem, you did not mention anything about taking three times to start. Basically your two comments did not jibe together because the first description of the problem did not match what you said after doing all that work and replacing parts. Confusing..........

The lock cylinder would not be a problem but an ignition switch could be. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=1253283&cc=1433255&pt=4700&jsn=953

You said you replaced the starter. Did it come with a solenoid on it? Was the solenoid replaced?

Can you post a video of the noises it makes or is it just a feeling?
Yes, correct me if I'm wrong, but I changed the starter and I believe the solenoid was attached to it by it's own wire?
