Let me know what you do, I've been interested in changing the headlights... I WANT to find the Escalade Platinum LED lights, they're probably pretty pricey though.

Does anyone know the part numbers on the LED Headlights?

first one has waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much going on, second one is the better of the two, though im not a fan of either. to be honest i think your stock housing would look better with HIDs then one of those aftermarket one w/o HIDs.

steve: im pretty sure you cannot buy the esky lights and fit them on your yukon without buying the escalade front end. also i think those lights run ~$1500 each, could be wrong but even at $1500 total thats still a lot!

I wish I had the connections to get hooked up with somebody with the know-how to manufacture after-market headlights that don't look cheezy like everything currently on the market for our Yukons. Why does everything have to be "halos" and look like it belongs on a space ship? Why can't one of these manufacturers make a light assembly that looks identical to the OEM but offers painted inserts or clear LED's to replace the amber turn signal...you know, something similar to the Escalade. Also wish the parts were more inter-changeable between models like they used to be. For example, I had a set of '04 OEM Denali projectors on my '06 Sierra and they looked sweet...like it came from the factory that way, and they were direct replacement. I'd love to be able to install Esky lights on my Yukon as well!

They just aren't black enough for me.... I'll wait until someone comes out w/ black projectors that are compatible w/ HID.

Until then can someone tell me what white LED I can get that has a resistor already built in for the DRL?

Thanks.

Yeah- I've seen those. Its gay they sell them with a projector lens with a regular bulb behind it. Sounds like that's how they come right?

I want to buy them with HIDs already installed..... Too busy to be tearing them apart and installing HIDs once I get them.... I guess I could take them to a shop and get them done.....

Those look good Jason. But I don't want to have to (I can't) be modifying the HL to accept HID. I'd consider just doing them w/ a 4K Sylvania ST if it wasn't a major job to change the bulb after they burn out every 6-12mths. And I don't want to copy your truck. Last week I saw a black nali on Normandale w/ tinted tails and sweet 24s I believe.... last thing we need is 3 identical black custom nalis running around the SW metro....

P.S I got some "stuff" coming this week and am hoping to start my project this weekend. I'll probably be shooting you a help message LOL.

This is the reply I seem to get from ebay dealers on HID w/ projectors:

http://reviews.ebay.com/HID-Guide-to-Aftermarket-Projector-Headlights_W0QQugidZ10000000001638316

Is this true or false?

Thx.
