Probably a multimeter. Hammers don't work well on delicate electronics, I've tried.

haha, yea, I've tried that a couple times in the past and learned a hammer isnt good for diagnosing electronics, but it does help relieve some anger.

Not 100% sure what the diagnosis is to be honest, I think it's a faulty injector harness perhaps. Among many other things so far.... late late last night or early this morning I replaced the plugs, tested all the injectors AGAIN, pulled a 3 cyl misfire so I put a noid lite on it. It blinked and blinked and never skipped a beat, so I went to remove it and discovered when I pull on the wire I lost signal. So I tightened up the #3 injector wires into the plastic piece and plugged it back into the injector. Bam.

Worked my butt Day and Night I tell ya....I'd be gdamn'd if I didn't fix this thing in my garage. I'm going to pick up my blood pressure medication and have a drink.

You definitely get props from me bro! That shit would drive me nuts for sure. I've done some nasty things back in my day destroying drywall in the garage from throwing tools.
