I know that's not what he paid for them, and you can get them on eBay for around $1,200 a piece, but yes MSRP is right at $2,300

You are going back to stock headlights if the DRLs do not work? I would prefer them to not work.

I'd like to have a choice if they work or not, I don't want what I purchase not to function as it is intended as a matter of principle.

Plus, one of the downsides of having this done at a dealership is that the service manager already told me he's not allowed to release the vehicle without functional DRLs. That may or may not be true, but as I want them functional anyway, it's a moot point.
