P/N 2500 HD overlay?

OK, I emailed carl <digital dash> re: buying just ONE needle and ONE bulb along with an overlay.
he emailed me back, "it won't work without programming".
Well, thanks for avoiding the question.

I already KNOW mine works, I put another gauge's needle on it and watched the temp increase and decrease.

I emailed him that mine is already active and asked him again if I could buy just 1 needle and 1 bulb and 2500HD overlay, instead of a complete set of needles.

Worst he can do is say no... I have the flu or something or I'd be at the junkyard right now asking for a used 03-06 2500HD, denali, or escalade cluster.
What are the prices y'all have seen on used clusters?

Thanks Omar, I was hoping to find a solution that would work for everyone.
If Carl doesn't want to do so (and I can see why he wouldn't!), I'll PM you so at least I can take it all apart and do a write up addendum to yours with my differences on needle setting.

I have until June to get it done, that when I'm towing a camper to Ft Wilderness @ DW.
