The 97k maintenance calls for trans fluid and filter change so I'll probobly do it all at 1 shot. I've heard of the RAFM delete and what it does but not sure what it is exactly. Wheres best place/option to get that done?Looks nice. I would want to do fluid drain and refill when doing the bypass upgrade. Maybe consider a Range AFM delete.
Buy it here and plug it in to your OBD under the dash. Simple as that. I've seen better mileage with this and 8 cylinder all the time. The last time Paramus Chevrolet changed the trans fluid they did not change out the filter. When I brought it up they said they do not do that. Fluid after the change stayed clean for the next 40-50K miles till I changed it again. The dealer in Florida said they do not do the filter either. I called several other dealers in Florida at the time and all gave me the same story. I am sure some dealers do it but none of mine do.May have to go to the dealer @Miami-Dade, I think, suggested in Paramus. The one I went to didnt want to do the bypass nor the fluid and filter change. They said the trans fluid looked dark. Isn't that a great reason to change it? Mentioned problems could arise which is better now while it's under warranty, rather than later. They suggested changing transfer case fluid but that was done about 10k miles ago according to the carfax.
Greenbrook GMC didnt offer to just change the fluid, they just sent me packing lol. If Paramus doesn't work out I got a trusted old school transmission shop that might do a simple drain and fill for me. If changing the fluid damages it, it was already doing bad. Cabin filer change helped my AC concerns. The lady so happy she dont have to hear about anymore lol.The last time Paramus Chevrolet changed the trans fluid they did not change out the filter. Yes I would change it out. I never saw dark trans fluid in my Tahoe since day 1.
Yes I recently changed my Cabin Filter [as I going back in the road Monday] and it definitely helped.Greenbrook GMC didnt offer to just change the fluid, they just sent me packing lol.
