Picked up a z71...

Height inside is, or at least feels about the same as the 18. Its the width and length that feels WAAAAY bigger. It almost feels like my 19 super duty inside. One thing you may not like, with dog hair concerns, and something I have not seen mentioned, from the windows up is now black inside, not the old light grey.Personally, makes me love the inside that much more over the 18, however, I am sure light colored dog hair will be an issue, one I am not looking forward to.

Thanks for the quick reply. The dog is actually blue (dark grey) so the color doesn’t concern me as much. One option I considered on my 18 is to remove the 3rd row for an additional 4 inches of height. Is the 3rd row removable at all on the 21?

Gotta say I have 0 idea! Never tried or needed to remove. It does lay alot flatter now in the 21.

Thanks anyway! It is kind of a pain to get it removed on the 18, and I imagine the 21 is no different. I have a plan B if we get a second Dane - I will get a Sienna and keep my Tahoe clean.

There ya go! I get it, we make sure to have 2nd row buckets, so our dogs our free to move about the cabin!

I guess the z71 doesn’t have a front air dam which makes sense. Curious if the z71 has a different MPG rating than the others?

Me neither just curious since the air dams are so obtrusive it makes me wonder how they rate the vehicles sold without them.

From what I read the 4wd sees a drop on average of 1mpg across the board from a 2wd model, so call it, no difference. I will say I am getting alot more miles per tank then my 18.
