I looked up Webastos and all I can find is they are from Brasil and make sun roofs or as the call them sky windows. Edit : I was looking up Webastos not Webasto samething I guess they sell heater too but the only camera I could find was this ; http://www.webastoshowroom.com/Backup_camera_main.htm

One of mine failed to work. So I contacted the seller to see if he can send me another one. I offered to ship the broken one to him at my cost. He said for me not to worry about it. I then replied to him "Are you sure?" ... and well I haven't got a reply back. So if he is for real about me not sending the broken one back, I will ship it to someone on here just as long as you pay freight.

The only thing wrong with the system is that the screen doesn't work. I wired it all up and it wouldn't come on. So I connected it to another screen that I had and it turned on. So the camera works, just not sure if the screen is fixable.

AtomicHoe094 claimed dibs on it already.

I'm pretty sure that both of mine came screwed up. I wired them every conceivable way and couldn't get them to work. At one point the last one worked for a few minutes and hasn't since. I'll contact the seller one more time and see if I can get yet another one. I'll leave my wiring in place so it'll be easy enough to see if it works if he sends another. Meanwhile, I'm amassing a pretty good assortment of parts here....

He just emailed me today. I tried to buy 20 from him but he said he is out of them now.

for anybody whose camera is not working, i found the issue (for mine ayways)

the screen would come and go, work then not, then half work, then static, so i grabbed the control box and squeezed it, the video came back on, so i decided to dig deeper...

the problem is in the control box, if you pop it open (just pry a flat screwdriver in the crack around it) you will see where the 2 wires enter the box, there is one with 4-5 wires, ignore that, the other side has about 12 small wires that go in to a plug, there's the issue, the plug doesn't sit (and stay) deep enough in the socket, i personally am just going to put a clamp on it and use superglue to hold the plug in to the socket, i assume this will work.

EDIT: ok, so i looked at this, seems that isn't the issue, still having problems, i am going to try remelting the solder on the points where the socket is.

^^^ Keep us updated on what you find out.

Mine is doing the static thing.

Now we know why these were only 30 bucks, lol.

I dunno, I guess I'll have to look at mine now inside the box. They both worked fine when I tested them. Personally, I really didn't buy it for the 300line screen to be honest. I'll end up wiring that into my DIN I think. I just thought the screen adapter might come in handy if I can find the right size NAV unit to squeeze in place of the little screen.
