true...but besides air temp?


well the reason we do CAI is because that gives us better power. By giving the engine even more hot air your power will decrease. IMO I would go back your your old set up. I recall you had an AEM OR K&N. I dont remember which though.

Well I'm no expert but I think we're all thinking the same thing.... Just reroute all your hvac ducts in the truck toward the throttle body and just keep it on full blast at 60*, you could probly just use a couple snorkles and garden hose pieces to keep cost down and voilà , Forced air induction! Problem solved , your welcome

i'd say you'll be losing performance over a stock intake.

I agree, kinda counter productive. GM has the pipe going as far away as possible from the engine for a reason. Cut a hole through the hood and pop it up, Then you should see some awesome ram air power gains.

it looks like you took off the whole intake and just threw on a filter

Hmmm...I wonder what the real performance (gains/draws) would be with this setup...

Anyways, thats not the final product...I'll post updated pics soon enough

Okay NC... I can totally see you posting a picture of yourself standing next to the intake of a twin turbo'd ZO6 motor...
