Power Liftgate Issues -2011 Yukon

Recently, the power lift gate would not operate on my Yukon.
This lasted for about 5 days.
Previously, it has refused to work when temps were near zero.
I chalked that up to it just being too cold for the mechanism.

Hooked up my scanner and pulled these codes.
I started pricing a replacement lift motor but today it started working again.
I'm thinking I need to check all the connectors behind the finish panels.

Any suggestions?

They are a pita to figure out. A lot has to work perfect or it's not gonna work. Intermittent makes it even harder.
Every time I messed with one part of the system it would start working for a day or two then stop working again.
I ended up replacing the door latch, Lift motor mechanism and module. I also replaced the clutch part with a new part.
Been working perfect for 4 days now. Fingers crossed it continues.
I don't think I ever had a B396A code but I did have a B2495 code.
I also checked all connections more than once and all appeared good. The main door plug is good as well as the wiring going from the plug to the door is good.
In my case, I don't think it is/was a wiring issue.
Wish I could offer more help!

Thanks for the reply.
I wasn't looking at it being a door latch issue because the pull close mechanism still operated as it should even when the power lift didn't.
Didn't really figure on it being the control module because that should be a go / no go type of part.
It either works or it doesn't.
Unless of course, the module has bad solder joints inside, but that should be rare.
I still plan on checking all connectors and cleaning up everything as I go along.

As you said, intermittent issues are the toughest to troubleshoot.
