Hey guys thought i would share me and my dad's project over the past couple of months. In 2007 he bought his Chevy Avalanche brand new and drove it every since as a daily driver. He has always hated how bad the 5.3 sucked and also had an eye for the escalade ext rather. So since he finally broke 100k miles on the truck we started a conversion on it.
Now before you read all this and say why didnt you just buy an escalade.. We wanted a project.
We transformed almost every single piece of the truck to look exactly like an escalade ext. Front end, fenders, lights, wheels, interior.. everything. He decided to not go with the 6.2 from the escalade, and went with a GM crate LS3, which he just had tuned on the dyno today. I will put up the numbers when he gets them to me. All in all the project was hella fun, and now somehting to be proud of. I will post more pictures when i get the chance.
