Looks like the LSA supercharger is definitely a go!!
Picked up some more parts over the last month or so:
-Complete NEW front drive accessories compatible with the LSA supercharger. This was the by far most expensive single purchase so far (around $1100.00 complete), but it has a new Alternator, PS Pump, all new pulleys, tensioners, bolts etc. Some of the pulleys are aftermarket pieces (Metco) to get a better belt wrap around the SC pulleys.
-Harmonic Balancer
-LSA Cylinder Heads (used)
No progress on the T56 swap. Been too busy with other things. I did get the spider gears replaced in the rearend and Yukon warrantied them.
I've recently seen the ebay listings for these superchargers. I've read about the different heads and front accessories needed to make them run on our engines...seems you've done the same too. With all the parts you've had to pick up I'm wondering if it's cheaper (and easier) to either 1) buy a TVS1900 that's made for our trucks, 2) buy and swap in an LSA engine + the supercharger, or 3) go with a basic turbocharger setup on my existing Tahoe's engine. I am seriously looking into a turbocharger setup after seeing the work you're having to go through and how much the TVS superchargers cost new and used.
I really want to give you hell about not having your T56 swap done yet, but I totally understand having your back giving you trouble cause I've been fighting with my bulged discs that recently graduated to herniated discs. Growing old sucks.
I'll be posting an update to my shifter drama and my expected clutch swap soon complete with photos. In short, life is great with a 6-speed and I still can't recommend it highly enough.
Status Update:
T56 is probably NOT going to happen. My job was relocated into a very populated area which in turn added about 25 minutes of stop/go commuting in heavy traffic. Really not wanting to deal with a manual trans in that kind of stop/go traffic on a daily basis. Sad, but that is reality.
Sorry I haven't been working on the Tahoe since I replaced the gears.

The rest of the engine/blower mods are still in the works. I've been playing with my other toy, a 4th gen Camaro, lately so that has taken all of my free time. Swapped in a built LS7 into that car and it's been a lot of fun so far this summer. I imagine I'll get after the engine/blower build for the Tahoe this winter. The old 5.3 just turned 255,000 miles and seems to be getting more piston slap because she's a noisy ***** on a cold morning hahaha....

I'm bummed to hear it man...I was hoping there'd be another Tahoe out there like mine. The last I heard from you you were having back issues...so I'm really glad that you are up and moving around.
You say another like yours, meaning another manual trans Tahoe? Please say yes hahaha
Please share a link to your Tahoe
Thanks
