Im a cheap skate, and have a dd avalanche with 157k, I used fans off of an LS1 Camaro, cut my stock shroud and mounted them inside. Went to autozone and used a stand alone controller. It got me about 3mpg and no overheating issues even with the A/C on towing in the Mojave desert at 116* Best $100 I ever spent.
