Question: Have you ever used your spare tire?

I don't think I would even trust it for it sitting under there so long. Don't know how long it takes to dry rot, but they look like they are gonna fall apart. Never used it on the tahoe though.

just had a blow out a few days ago(rock slide area)
my key worked and the spare dropped easily(2005 yukon)
under 20 psi in the spare.
need new tires.

Time for you fellas to periodically inspect your spare. Take it down at times when you wash your truck, take a look, clean it, check the air pressure, put some tire shine on it (which will help it from "rodding under there") and put that sucker back under the truck.

Trust me, the time will come when you will be glad you have a good Spare to use.

Eh, we can check the psi on our backs. The air valve is on the bottom side.

I haven't used the spare on the NNBS yet, but I did have to remove when I installed the updated EVAP CVS.

oh, and it was the LR that blew, but, now the check tire pressure goes off and shows the LR 32, RR 32, FL---, FR 31.
the spare is the LR.
any suggestions for a good a/t for this wild west area im in that could handle a few rocks but is not too loud?
definitely going to be more diligent with my spare.
