Were you able to solve the power issue to the switch that you had posted a while back? And do you have any pictures of the harnesses where they plug in? And lastly, where did you go through the firewall? Thanks in advance for all of the assistance.

Re-read post 5 for description of where the underdash harness plugs into fusebox in two places; I will send you an email photo as well for you to post up. Refer to the fog wiring diagram I sent you to see how these two harnesses work and where/how they plug in to headlight and ground.
You'll need to drill a hole in firewall to get the under hood harness and the underdash harness to plug into each other. The underdash harness has a rubber grommet built into it for this purpose.
The single position plug with the grey lead that was giving me trouble is the illumination lead for the switch. My 1997 did not have a pin in the fuse box for this one lead. I spliced into another grey illumination wire coming off the ac control, works pefect.

Tbruz please check you inbox.

I have everything accept those brackets. Btw fog switch and bezel with 3 switch holes wasn't that big problem. I seached though ebay for escalade dash bezels and made some offers. Usually it doesn't have a value for a seller.

Tbruz:

I finally remembered to post these wiring diagrams; sorry about the brain f....!

As to the other parts I was looking for, I stumbled upon an Ebay seller who had the vertical fog light switch and plate, and he was also able to supply the complete harness setup. So needless to say, at this point, I have an extra underhood harness that I bought brand new and the horizontal fog light switch if anybody needs it.

You might want to contact the Ebay seller and see if he can get the brackets for you if you still need them. His seller name is jcar 3948 and his phone number 801 787 6222. Good luck.

Hopefully now I can get my lights to work. Thanks for all of the help.
