i believe most of the "smart" coils are all the same... the use a 5 pin connector, dedicated ground to battery, dedicted ground to head, dedicated power with 40amp relay required for each bank, and then the ecm signal +/-.

i was/am close to start migrating over to a holley dominator, their big wire ignition kit is probably what ill start with, and grab a few components here and there that will be an upgrade and can also just with the dominator.

Granatelli reports something like 80-90KV with the lowest at high RPM being around 78KV. They also don't require a special harness.

I think these are the ones for your rig: https://granatellimotorsports.com/i...sports-malevolent-coil-packs-28-0513-cpm.html

yep.... i talked with them when i first swapped the 9.25 in. was a little more then i was looking to spend "just to see if it works". aside from some boot clamp problems this is my first frankenstein axle failure after a year and a half. i can buy a whole lot of 75$ axles before buying those becomes a good idea

driveshaftshop, g-force axles etc have no interest in making a one of one set of custom cv shafts for me :D
Come on big money! Get them spendy axles up in this rig!!!

skeptical...
i kinda would like to upgrade the harness and use the smart coils

am also about max'd out on full e85. throttle blade closes on shifts, i think this is a common problem with the ls3 tb :(
trans is also back to shifting great! the upper rpm breakup was messing with shift points i guess.

yall aint gonna believe this...but its actually working.

spark plug gap was the ticket it seems. with the large bore and e85 i'd like to run a larger gap but i'll need to upgrade the ignition system to do so. which sucks but fuel system is also about done... i leaned it out a little and its keeping the idc under 90% can always mix in 100+oct to stretch it further.

was chasing the throttle closing during shifts for a few weeks now, only happen at WOT shifts. the trans probably loves the no power shifts but will cost me a few tenths. was my own fault, pulled a dumbass move and apparently had the rpm limiter set at 6800rpm in gear on the tune. changed it to 7300, havent tried but hope that fixes it

axle i swapped, i used one with a thermoplastic outer boot....the boot clamp barely hits the LCA, enough to make it spit a little grease out...hoping it self clearances itself...ive cleaned it up a couple times, keeps spitting less and less lol

i may swap the catch cans and let it pull some vacuum on the crankcase. they are both just currently "open". currently the one on the passenger side is always open, has a long/higher hose from the valve cover - thinking it wont suck as much oil up as driverside one.

When I got an alignment they said driverside got within spec, passenger side they couldn't do much. Which was odd because I put the offset bushings and everything on that side too.

Not for lack of trying apparently though, tore new alignment bolts to shit. The pin on the frame was coming out, as the arm came out it would hang up on the pin coming out. I spread it apart a little put the pin in straight got the bushing passed the pin and tightened it back down.

Put the old alignment bolts and cams back on it

And rotating the front tires to the back since insides are a little wore
