Alt bracket...I have the stock belt cut up to check the length ...and it was pretty much 50.5", which I ordered already along with one a half inch longer i think so it should get me close.
Bracket should work good, connects to the block and head with 5 bolts

Limiting straps...here's what I came up with in case trying to explain it was confusing

I need to grab some low profile bolts and lockouts for strap at the top...its a little crowded in there

I dont plan on leaving them on all the time, they only need to work for about 3 seconds when I launch to keep the front end down. The length of them is set to easily be able to get them on at ride height but have very little slack in them, then just cinch up the clevis at the top

if it ends up rubbing you can probably swap to a small case alternator that would give you a smidge more room

should be good, i had been running this alt (carquest) for a few months. i just didnt have a proper tensioner and basically streched (a non stretch belt) onto it, made abunch of dust and alt started going out. with this bracket/tensioner hoping it keeps everything happy

have put electric water pump and electric hydraulic pump for steering and brakes on so going smaller is not an option

axle should be here today so i can button it up and put it back on the ground.

i ordered some hardware for the limiting straps to cut down the bulkiness at the top. it came with like 7/16" nut/bolt/washer and spacers for either side to go from 7/16" to 1/2" the whole set up ends up being 1 3/4" long i think . so im ditching all of that.....I got some 1/2" button head bolts with low profile nylock nuts. if thats still to big i got some pins with one flanged side and a retaining clip on the other that should only stick out about 1/8" on either side of the clevis.

Is there not much force on those straps or am I overthinking it? With their intended purpose, it just seems like a LOT of leverage against something acting in single shear.
