actual update!

grabbed some ATF sealant to put the transfercase back together, its sitting - last time i did that i dont think i waited very long...there was quite a bit of sealant floating around inside of it...so its prob gonna sit till sunday before i put it back in...make sure its all dry inside and outside.

stripped the front suspension, lower control arms, axles, diff, spindles out. there is a few things i gotta do to put on the new front crossmembers, cut off the rear crossmember mounts, the front just needs a couple corners squared off it looks like.

last box showed up...if you still want to call it that :emotions122: need to go through it and see whats missing. i'll be shocked if its all still in there. theres literally just tape wrapped around the entire thing.

if its nice tomorrow(and i have rear parts) i should be able to knock out most of the lift kit.

ngl kinda kicked my ass today :emotions133:

got the stock lower control arms all trimed up, front crossmember went in pretty good - real tight, had to force 'er in there with the jack but bolt holes lines up perfect. rear crossmember fuggin went in pretty loose, but the holes were off by like 1.5mm, and the bolts have to go in the front (where the cv joints connect on the inside) so you have to hang the diff down some to feed the bolt in straight, then i fuqd with trying to get the other bolt in for like an hour. placed the driverside bolt in cause it would have really been a pain to get that one in second. i pryed and levered and beat the living shit out of the bolt to get it in - finally got the tip in and was able to beat it thru about 3/4 of the way and then i was able to get up in there and force the bolt to line up with the other hole to come out of the crossmember and still had to wack it a few times to get it to pop out. get a couple threads out then just screwed it thru (didnt mess up threads tho) was kinda late and dark...neighbors have lil kids i didnt want to keep slammin it with BFH @930pm.

the 9.25ifs is a big ol girl but it fits without clearancing anything....as mentioned where the cv axles bolt to it is the tightest spot but there's probably +/- 1/4".

i need to go thru and tighten everything up, but i thru in the LCA, spindle on one side, everything is going together good since those crossmembers

***half day or so...went down to office and didnt get started till about 3 or i prob wouldve got a little more done

Jesus my notifications quit for a couple days and you’re halfway done building a swamper. Fast work as always. I can’t wait to see this thing when you’re done with this incarnation.

its going to be a big bish when its done lol. i put the spindle on and its like 10" off the ground with the center of wheel level with the diff (thinking the axles will have some downward angle) im going to have to jack it up even higher off the ground to put 35s on it

mostly pushing to get front together and see what kinda mess im in to make some axles work
