I was reading somewhere a while back they were having problems with those baja boss tires, might be why they were on back order, I think there was a recall or something, not sure.

tires and wheels are at buddys shop... i ordered some cheap tpms sensors with metal stems so he could go ahead and make them up.
just been messing with little things, got fitting in to remake coolant hose to get it away from the exhaust manifold. threw in some hose separators on hoses to the heater core.
i really wanted to not put much into getting the exhaust back together but it was too much of a pain to get the vbands lined up and some of the welds were from version 1 of exhaust and me learning to weld and they were realll ugly. but i had to order some more 4", and going to clean up the cross over welds, ordered hopefully a connection pipe that has some long slip fittings and will just take my time.
got the fan harness back together for the stock fans.
the front sway bar, the lift kit came with some new ones but they were too long, put the bar up way too high, so i cut down the sleeves and ordered some grade 8, 3/8x11 bolts which were fun to find (fastenal had them). i did end up flipping the swap bar - on the ends its kinda angled up so when i flipped it, they are now angled down and should work better.
got some 1-1/2 spacers for the rear, i need to see how they fit and if i need to cut the axle studs down some. 1-1/2 seems pretty big though, not sure ill need to need to pull a wheel and check
im going to give axle guy i need talking to a couple more days and then i think im just going to order the RCXs
i will hopefully have everything buttoned this weekend with except of a few odds and ends - trans and oil coolers, putting that fan on a switch, i think im going to need to put some sort of front axle brace on it - since like all lift kids come with one

I'm anxious to see it on the new wheels and tires. I'm not much of a lifted truck kinda guy but how can you not love this thing! I'm also excited to see version 57 of the welds and dem sexy dimes :kiss1:

i broked the cmax also...been doing a hell of a shimmy lately.
thought cause front tires were a little wore due to me never rotating them - did so, didnt help
shook, grabbed, tried to move, everything in the suspension while doing so- everything felt good.
makes some racket while rocking the wheel against the trans but i think thats normal.
cv axles all tight everywhere.
then i finally notices while rocking the tire it would shake the motor pretty bad. looked up top while doing so and could see the motor mount had been dancing around with some new shiny black rubber exposed and rocking the tire engine moves and mount doesnt do jack. so i went ahead n ordered one

Dammit man. Hopefully that mount is easier to change than the ones on my Camaro.

I bet climbing out of that and into the ctsv is quite the experience! I had to google what a cmax was. I apparently missed that car somewhere along the way. I thought you had a fusion or something lol

lol yea its pretty much shares same drivetrain as fusion/escape type *****.
engine mount doesnt look too hard to do but i think i may have to drain and refill coolant which kinda sucks, reservoir sits over it.

debating on driving ctsv to site visits... my just hang out at office tomorrow, but its friday dont feel like being in office

I had to trim off most of the smooth tips of the studs for my 1.5" spacers. This was to fit the stock wheels. Some wheels have voids between the stud holes that reduce or eliminate the amount of necessary trimming.
