and fueling is way off apparently  , i did most of the VE table with straight E85. but i also add like 6* of timing with E85 throughout the table. the way the tables work, fuel is fuel but the added timing=more power=more fuel. so i made adjustments making more power. when i go to a full tank of 93, that 6* isnt in there and it needs like 7-10% less fuel in some of the cells

Should be ashamed of yourself for making my wee wee do these things at this hour!

Really though, looks great all new pretty. Hopefully alternator shit is just normal, since you aren't beating on it all the time now.
i think i have a carquest lifetime warranty one sitting here not installed i can go swap for free and see if its better

and i got caught at the slowest and longest train, i forced the ac compressor on thru hptuners and idle was good for like 10+minutes waiting for it to pass. so i need to figure out how to just force the thing on but i think its controlled thru the bcm

swapped the alternator , and new belt, with warrantied carquest one, hopefully no 8k rpm rips will keep it alive for a while.
ran around and did some more tuning on the ve table, last night i made some changes kinda of blindly but it wasnt far off.
this turbo spools up painfully slow lol. may just need some miles on it to loosen up, even spinning it by hand it feels "heavy". i put a couple degrees of timing it thru the cells it hit accelerating to hopefully get the turbo to spool up a little faster. used to never really put 93 in it so it needed some work :(

changed trans shifting also, i tried to have it lock up in 3rd but but coming up in rpm it wanted to do 2>3>lock up>unlock> 3>4> lock up all within a few seconds. was just ****** and rough. no more 3rd gear lock up feels better.

so anyway, drag yukon v.17.3 coming soon

maybe not "soon", its together and it runs so i'll probably leave it together and do a few things to it that it will need for more power. it is a whole lot easier to work on way off the ground.

im just going to replace the Cmax with something a little higher off the ground - ive got it narrowed down to a couple awd suvs, 30+mpg, within the budget im ok with. it worked out to spending more per month if i kept the cmax monthly payment(250/month apr is 1.x% so i never bothered paying more on it), and using the truck when needed (maybe 10x a month @$100/trip).

Great time a the track last night Randy. Rain was in the forecast so few showed up and my daughter got 5 runs in and the Yukon made 4 runs. It was 85 and pretty humid but still better than staying home! 2 more test and tunes left, 15th and 22nd. Gonna make it?

eh i dunno, i think im done giving them money
must have been the forecast that kept it empty, i know there were some clouds but i dont think it ever rained
went to the last couple and place way packed out the door, didnt even bother teching in...friends who did waiting till 9 before they got first run, and then they saying lanes closing at 10:30 - was ridiculous.
