60psi oil pressure at idle? What happens at redline- gauge spins back around to 0 and starts over? I thought these things throw a code if the pressure is too high.

They do... ask me how I know.

It will set a code for oil pressure sensor range or something like that... doesn't set immediately though.

Yes, your experiences are where I got that from. I do see that it doesn't set immediately cuz mine has kissed 80 psi, or very near it, according to the dash gauge a few times since running the diesel oil. It's only when it's not really hot. Once fully heated, it hits high 70s at most.

the trick is while changing it, to just drain the oil right back into the ground so the earth can naturally recycle it.

i ordered a stubby air filter cause the elbow i had on the other turbo is smaller 5.5" to this lil guy's 6"...and it sits a bit more forward so i dont think i can get an elbow on it anyway to put the filter off to the side. says its only 3.9" deep so hope it works, can pull it at track so just need something to beat around with.

waiting on intercooler pipes i ordered a week ago...kinda sketchy, no order confirmation, no shipping info. it just shows up when it gets here i guess

ordered another trucool 40k trans cooler...got some more tubing coming this week. couple other odds and ends to finish up. need to check trans line pressures after all of that is in

After posting in the aux trans cooler thread I figured I would give this derale cooler another chance. So i looked up the btu rating and was surprised to see it was 37k btus, cause it seemed to suck before lol.
It is about 2" thick though
So i ripped the fans off of it and started placing in the front where ever I thought it could work, get the most air flow, and easiest way to plumb it in
