Rear diff just exploded. Recommended replacement?

Yeh it was interesting for sure. I am glad it wasn't a Denali.

I didn't read that it locked up, but that would explain it. Fun ride, imagine if it was a Denali with AWD and that happened. The damage wouldn't have stopped at the rear diff.

After cleaning the carnage up and looking at the pieces. The bolt that holds the pin in is untouched. What is left of the hole in the carrier where the pin locks down is where the damage started. It seems the bolt backed out far enough for the pin to come out and hit the case. It all went down hill quickly. Here are better pictures.
