This is my first post here on TYF and I just wanted to see what others had done with their rear vents. Just need some inspiration! Post pics and give a little info if you can!!

A lot of people on here get the Escalade rear vents or the smooth vents and color match them.

Also welcome to the Forum.

That does look really smooth. I think that's what I'm going to do mine. Thanks for the feedback! About how much will this run me?

how do the smooth aftermarket ones work w/o any openings? do they impair the vent's function? im looking for a set of caddy ones as we speak, theres a burban over here near me with gloss black escalade ones....the gloss black matches the glass and looks like the entire thing wraps around the back...truck is silver like ours.....so i cant decide if i want to do smooth color matched to silver or smooth gloss black...

Do they vents actually serve a function or are they just there for 'looks'?

no they actually serve a function. thers a rubber covered vent inside that allows pressure to escape. stand by one when someone shuts a door...or stand anywhere near one with huge bass going on inside and u can hear it farting...
