how do the smooth aftermarket ones work w/o any openings? do they impair the vent's function? im looking for a set of caddy ones as we speak, theres a burban over here near me with gloss black escalade ones....the gloss black matches the glass and looks like the entire thing wraps around the back...truck is silver like ours.....so i cant decide if i want to do smooth color matched to silver or smooth gloss black...

I have a set of street scene vent caps and they are smooth with no vents and you dont notice. Its not like these caps are sealed on, they still allow the air to escape from the rubber flab behind them. I would shy away from the street scene caps though, their fit and finish is nothing like the OEM Escalade caps. Street Scene uses a softer type of plastic that moves easily and are missing 1 less clip than a stock set. If I had to do it again, I would go with the escalade caps.

then that would def sway me towards the opened up esky oem ones versus the closed ones.

They dont seal so teh closed ones still allow for the air movement.

Dude....I sure wish you'd mod your Kon a little bit rather than rolling around all stock like that :whymewhyme:
