Hey Guy's I need some advise.

I have a 2005 YukonXl with 68k. Absolutely no power train problems other than a transmission failure at 58k. Had it rebuilt ($$$) and it was as expected still a slush box.
Well last Friday I took it in because the transmission was giving me an intermittent shutter 1st-2n and over all felt lazy. The shop dropped the pan and replaced an actuator spring. The trans shifted a little quicker and everything seemed fine.
Later that day I got the dreaded "Reduced Engine Power" after coming to a stop a shifting to reverse. After unhooking the battery the truck started and we got the truck home.
It threw a P1516. I cleaned the throttle body and erased the code. Drove it for 20 miles and upon deceleration I got the reduced power again. P1516.

Do you think its just coincidence or do you think the trans work is the problem? Possibly a loose electrical connection somewhere on the valve body maybe?

Called the dealer. He says Throttle body is $700 and harness is $1000? What bugs me is its covered on the 2008-2010's but not the early models. Complete BS
