Glad you figured it out Chase. :Handshake:
I can't believe it was back in 2018 that I originally did your cluster. Man, time flies!
It's not a huge difference, but I'm sure you see the "hot spots" that you have with the individual LEDs, and they show up far brighter in photos than in person. When I first started doing LED conversions on dash clusters, I used individual LEDs. But then I switched over to the LED strips, since I could fit a whole row of LEDs in there with the strips, and NO hot spots whatsoever. It had complete, even light distribution. But it seems that whether it's strips, individual LEDs, or even replacement stock bulbs, they ALL end up failing after a few years. I have some LEDs in my driver's window switch and my AC control panel that have failed now. I did those back in 2017. I originally did them in 2009, and then I redid them in 2017 due to a few that were flickering. I guess now it's time to do them yet again......

I use a small strip of painter's tape on the gauge face and mark the lowest resting spot of each pointer with a small marker, before disassembly. The stepper motors have a natural "stop" point at the bottom of their sweep, and I match that with the new motors.
I saw that in one of the other how to videos I watched and thought oh that’s a good idea. I shoulda done that. lol. But it was too late at that point. Had a lot of trouble getting the needles to realign to the correct positions so that they would read correct once the truck was running. But got it right.

Been keeping the truck running. Got a few little things to tackle that’ll probably get done while the trucks tucked away in the garage during the incoming snowstorm and off days from the resort. My sister and bro in law went to Hawaii with my aunt and uncle last week, and stayed a few extra days so they could come up and ski. Rode the mountain the last two days. Had a blast chasing the kids around the resort. Went to my moms this morning to say goodbye and my moms like “well…… I forgot I don’t have enough seats in the Jeep so we have to uber them from riverside to Ontario airport afterthey drop the car off”…. I’m like nope….. sister doesn’t need that stress today let’s go. Truck does so much work with me and my detail gear that people hauling isn’t really a thing for the Nali…. Very rarely are all 7 seats in the truck occupied but today they were and I loved every minute of having a big wagon to cart my family around in. Drove them down to riverside, then back to the airport and then mom and I drove home. Probably about 120 miles-ish round trip. No issues. Trans is shifting perfectly since its service a couple weeks ago. Still ridding nice even fully loaded. I just can’t believe this truck is 18 years old and just goes with such ease…. :Big Laugh:

Yeah Chase! 7s in the long body FTW!!
Every-time I second guess myself on whether or not it was an ok financial purchase to make at that time in my life, and more often than not I do second guess myself. but this damn thing has gotten me to many new places…. Both in terms of traveling, learning what I’m really good at, and how to go do things I want to din life. It’s been through exciting stages and gotten me through the last big stages in life and shifts in life: places and the amount of smiles, memories, and always being exactly what I need when I need it remind myself that it absolutely was the best choice! Had 9 in it celebrating my long time line dance buddy Lisa’s birthday last year down for a trip to the living desert place out in palm desert and a little mini vacation for her birthday! It was awesome! :favorites37: The road tank nickname really stuck amongst my friends after that one…..

I hear that's coming this way for the weekend, but not sure how much of it will make it over the Continental Divide. Last week the mountains got pounded from the West, and we (the Front Range) got it from the Gulf.
