Yeah, I wasn't talking about CM the whole inside.

I know it is almost impossible to come up with something that hasn't been done before.

I was thinking about maybe CMing the chrome sides of the reflectors or something... I don't know.

Like me, you need someone with Photoshop to render your ideas. I just think about them for a few months or years then forget about the project entirely.

Clearly you have no legitimate gripe, so why don't you move along and stop cluttering up this thread.
X2 step off buddy
You seem to be coming across as the true meaning of richard cranium.

Also, I am curious if anyone who has done a retrofit before has ever used vinyl inside the headlights? Like a vinyl sticker.

I am just curious if the heat from the bulbs would be an issue with the vinyl, causing it to peel or anything.

I would imagine they are going to get way to hot for vinyl to be in there. Also, having wrapped some of the interior pieces, the thought of wrapping the interior of the headlight gives me hives haha

I was thinking about maybe a small Chevy bowtie in black vinyl on the side of the chrome or something... just to be different.

I thought about the Blacked out look, but I’m not sure I like the way it makes the lights look so small.
As for the earlier offense. I read all the way back to the first posts and it seems the offense came from talking about Blacking things out, and a picture posted of Uncle Ben, who is black. I think an unintended racial offense was created.
Now, can we all put it aside and play nice?

Some people look for any opportunity to be offended. People are brain washed to think that being a victim gives them special rights.

When you allow someone to offend you, or make you mad, you are actually giving them control over you. I prefer to be in control so it is very difficult to get me riled up.

The problem is he didn't get the joke about it making the headlights look "ricey"... since Uncle Ben is a rice manufacturer the logo is often used to poke fun at automotive "upgrades" that are more often seen in the JDM cars.

Back on topic... I agree about making the headlights look too small so I will probably leave them chrome but I may put a small tasteful matte black bowtie inside the headlights somewhere... just to be different.

Whoa, did you and Rip Van Winkle just wake up from a 100 nap? In the armed services there’s a solution for posts like yours, it’s called a blanket party.

Not sure if you’ll defend yourself, bow out as telling a bad joke or apologize.

Shut your crap lousy face.
You don't speak for all service members.
You really didn't need to say anything in the first place, "Karen".

I was gonna say way because at the start of the thread to PTM until I realized his truck was white. IMO white is the only color where PTM headlights don’t look good.

I had to go back and hit the “show ignored content” after reading through the thread and seeing there was something going on. And it didn’t take long to remember why I put the Pug dude on my ignore list right after he joined the forum. I think it was after reading his second or third post. Sometimes it only takes a minute to know someone has absolutely nothing that you want to hear. :hmmm2:
