I’m hoping so too. That’s what my heat shields did too- turned white but didn’t burn through. But inside those white areas I had a couple wires burn, twice on the same ones. Both are hard to keep off the headers.

Maybe you guys just aren't driving fast enough to get some air in there too cool them down...

Yes but that ruins the look of my engine bay! Anyway... the wires came today. I'll wait until the red shields come before installing them but they definitely are nice wires, and huge conductors. Here's comparisons between AC Delco OEM's, MSD Superconductors, and the Taylor 10.4 mm Race wires. Small to big. I also like how the Taylors have a place to grip the boot at the plug so you don't have to fight removing them.

No comparison. I originally had oem wires, they didn't last long at all. You shouldn't have any problems with the Taylors.

Or you can get one of these dumb things red, may be easier to grab the boot hard enough without loosing the internals...I don’t know just idea-ing yaDCA5BE65-8F7F-4AE7-8089-090057FEC0FA.jpeg
