IMG_8011.JPG IMG_8012.JPG IMG_8015.JPG So I went back and bought a pair of RE-7's and installed them but before I did, I texted the PO and asked him if he had been running 8" bags for long and he said no, he just changed to them before I bought it- he had been running 7's but wanted bags that could hold more weight even though the 7's were working fine. And obviously he didn't fully inflate them to check if they cleared. Stupid move. I'm just so glad that didn't happen on the 650 mile drive from San Francisco to Portland. I was so lucky, and the fact that I drove it almost the whole way at about 60 psi in the front is all that saved me. The passenger side was ready to blow too, here it is. And here's a pic of the RE-7's at 180 psi. Also, at full height I'm fine; full turn capability with the 26's.

You may want to spend a little time just going over everything, take a break, then go back over it...

Yessir agreed. But also, since The Beast is down this is my only transportation right now. But I only have short trips around town and I'm off work. I just got my smoke machine so I can check for intake/vacuum leaks on it. I still think the blower needs to come off and be reinstalled again. Don't ever buy a Whipple. It's a stupid install, so hard to get to the bolts, and get them tightened down.

My first major trip in the caddy I popped an air line, took me a year to fix it, lol. I still want to go through it but never do.

Glad you found the issue. I knew something had happened to get the bag to pop. Enjoy daily driving it until the denali is back.
