Rotor / Pad Recommendations?

I am happy with m y PowerStop Rotors and Pads.
Got them from summit racing. Good bite and rust resistant

Have been using PowerStop packages for years now with no complaints.

I just put PowerStop rotors & red calipers/pads on my front, and their carbon pads on my stock rear.
Just 2 months ago.... My stopping 'feel' is like my '05 Yukon XL lost 1/2 of it's weight, and a good reaction at the peddle.
( I also did S.S. brake lines while I was at it to better the peddle )

@cfmistry I just put Power stop drilled and slotted rotors and powerstop pads on my Tahoe. They were under $200 on ebay, they have only been on a few days so I'm not sure how I feel about them. Paranoid I messed up the brake job but I will update after my roadtrip this weekend.

Make sure you perform the important 'break-in'..... Drive around for 20 minutes and do NOT come to a complete stop. 30mph / easy/firm slow to 5mph..... 30 times. To coat the rotor properly.

My brakes felt even better after a few days of use. Broken in...... They now are great!

@mountie I have been doing my best to not stop when the brakes are hot. That makes me feel better maybe I just need to wait until they finish breaking in.

When the rotors/pads are just installed, do the break-in procedure to coat the rotors. After a while, a couple days later, you will discover your brakes work gooder !!! Then a couple weeks later, you will want to use the brakes to enjoy how well they feel.

I'm all for Powerstop rotors, but I've read bad things about their pads for our trucks (specifically, poor performance). I really want good stopping power as I'm used to driving a car and when I hop into a 6000lb truck I occasionally drive it faster than I intend to!

I've driven many performance cars & also semi-trucks..
You will never have the same stopping distance in a full-size truck, as a car. ( Well..maybe a dually?)

But Powerstop are an upgrade..... There are more than one type of pads, if you do research, maybe there is a better pad. If you find a better pad, I'd like to hear about it. But I presume, a more aggressive pad may have a lot of brake dust. Just look at race cars..... piles of dust!! ( And you eat the pads, but, boy! They stop!!

'90's F-1 Ferrari.... 800hp engine..... Braking - 3,000hp ( as described)

Actually an aggressive pad is what I want. I can deal with brake dust (my European cars already make tons), and I’d rather be safe.

Another vote PowerStop pads and rotors. I put them on my truck a year ago, and they've been great from a towing perspective. Whether it's pulling uhaul utility trailers or a 5k lb travel trailer there have been zero times I have felt let down. Love the fact that they don't rust as well.
