Check out how sharp it hits... and there is a roof flex shot at the end.. and believe me this car is alot stiffer than my yukon was.. so it takes ALOT more for it to flex.

This is my 3 12s in the 3rd row btw.

yeah if there was a like button on this forum I'd be using it about now. That is a really sick build right there.

So my next question is it possible to build a folded horn that will work in our back cargo area?

a 4th order is just a bandpass.. so a transline /4o hybrid is like a sealed box that doesnt fire into a box at all.. but into one long ass port

We actually mocked one up to do in a 3rd row.. would be fun to actually build it

Post up the design I'd love to give it a go as a weekend project :)

Thanks alot man.. the coolest part is its super tall so it doesnt have to be deep.. which means in my case.. lots of trunk space.. and in your case.. might fit..

Yea.. it wouldnt be a true tline or horn.. it would def be a hybrid box.. and MAX 2 10s.. but you could do 2 tens in a sealed box and then build a sick ass folded line to fire it into .. i would have to see if i still have the measurements.. the only thing that gets suck is the box HAS to be a wedge.. and that makes getting airspace right in a horn kinda a pain in the ass.. but its doable..

Im going to see if i still have the specs somewhere.. to the cargo area in these things

awesome. I think two tens would be fine if they were in a box where the waves are being conducted more efficiently.

Also thinking about bridging down to one ohm (a friend is all stuck on this being the solution to getting more bang) also he suggested using a cap when I go up to the 2800 watt american bass amp.

Thoughts?

Not to shoot you down but there are at least three solid folded horn designs I have you can fit in our trucks...
the biggest being what I have in mine right now which is a 30x36x36 box loaded with a single 15 with almost flat response at well over 120db (this chart is at 1Watt Corner.gif
the bigger you build the lower the frequencies so the smaller ones wont doo jeezy type stuff but mine is really overkill
a horn thats 20x30x30 can do this loaded with a single 8in 120watt sub that costs $25

sorry to double post but you jumped me while I was writing lol
you can just sell your 2800watts of inefficiency and buy a solid 500watt amp and break out your windows for about $300

I've already got a 600 watt amp in right now... how can I more efficiently use what I have? I'm all game for spending less money and getting more bass. My main requirement is that everything fits behind my third row. I know it limits the options but MOB seems to be doing right nice over from behind the 3rd row...:ehcapt:
