Bad news had major engine problems yesterday took the Hoe in to figure out the problem. Had to replace 2 fuel injectors, had a cracked gasket and a blown cylinder. Im not sure how it happened but it just happened all at once and i have to replace the spark plugs. So now im looking at getting a re-manufactured engine through Justin's engines & transmissions for the Hoe. bad news Parents are making me sell it when it gets fixed tired of messing with the truck and want something more reliable. this isnt the first time its been in the shop

How Much do yall think i should ask for her seeing as how she will have a new engine and only 152,000 on the dash not to mention the brand new toyo m/t

Damn, that sucks man. Sorry to hear that. If I were in your shoes, I'd refuse to sell it, haha. These trucks are reliable, though. I mean mine has 183k on the original engine and its still going strong! I guess you had a bad stroke of luck. It's hard to say how much you could get for it after the new engine. I've noticed that the area you live in can affect the price you may get for it. Anyways, good luck man. Hope everything turns out okay.

with a new motor you should have no problems should be reliable now. any way unless the truck is real clean your not gunna be able to sell it for much more then $3.370. might as well keep it now

^ Agree. Inform your parents that it'll have a new engine so it should last a long ass time. Convince them to let you keep it. Don't go down without a fight! lol.

OUCH! If you pay that much to put a new motor in it you'll probably be lucky to break even when all is said and done. I'd try to find a wrecked truck and barter with a buddy for beer and labor to get your truck back on the road :drunk::burnout:

that price seems really high for a reman. motor. if you go through with that you have to keep the truck. i dont know what they go for in your area but i saw a 2 door here with a new motor and high miles on the body, they're asking like $3k

it will be tough getting ur money back just buy a junk yard motor and still try to keep it but then if u must sell u dont lose that much or tell your parents to mind there business ( provided it is ur truck and u are funding the repairs)

yeah they changed their minds on it. they decided i can keep it the rest of this year and then decide weather i want to sell it or not. either way this still sucks having to drop 3 grand on this new motor
