Selling the Hoe' (third times a charm!)

Once I get the hoe out of my buddy's shop on Wednesday I'll post pics of anything I'll be selling and I'll take some pics of the truck including a picture of how I drilled through the roof and sealed around the hole. It'll be off for paint retouching dent removal and painting the rear bumper black, over the weekend at my dad's friend's autobody place.

AtomicHoe094, I'm ******* lost man, I shouldn't have put a dime into this thing years ago. I just can't STAND not having a pickup and I've always wanted a rcsb and I'm gonna be doing 0% financing for 72 months so affordable payments and I get a 6 speed 6L80e transmission and the 5.3L vortec. Can't beat the deal.

youre not lost.....youre clearly making an upgrade! the new silverados are so far beyond obs trucks its not even a fair comparison. sell me your headers, sell the tahoe to someone else, get your new truck and dont look back. you will have forgotten about the 'hoe by the time you leave the dealer.

This is not a good time to be taking on debt. I’m sure you have a solid job and a six year loan is not a big deal, but in today’s economy, six years is an eternity.

You might want to put it off until after the November elections. That may answer a few important questions……….

GM will be offering no interest loans for a very long time.

You have a lot of money invested in the Hoe. Why not just enjoy it for a while?

95twintt, its official its done already ha. I'll be getting it early next week. I made a good choice. I appreciate your concern, I wouldn't be doing without pondering the risks. I've been back and forth on this ever since I got the tahoe. There is only so much to enjoy with the tahoe. I threw so much damn money at it and there is still so much that it needs, in my opinion. I just don't have the money to restore an OBS + make it exactly what I want. I'll be making payments somewhere around $190.00 a month after I sell the hoe. I already put 5K down on the 28,500.00 that the new truck cost me, my payments are right around 340.00 dollars a month which is completely do able. I could keep the hoe if I really wanted to. But if I sell it I could throw a super charger and I lift into the new truck or put the cash towards payment =D!

Hey go drive the regular cab short bed with the 5.3L and the 6L80E. You might get the need to buy one as well. I love Chevy's, I could have gotten a dodge or a toyota with much more impressive stock powertrains but I honestly don't like anything about them other then that.
Their straight ugly and.... not Chevy's. CAN'T WAIT TO PUT A RED/BLACK BOWTIE ON THE NEW CHEVY!!! It's gonna look sweet with the white paint job! Oh there's another thing, I was gonna throw money into painting the hoe white now I have a brand new truck in white!

What wheels and tires to go with? I'm shooting for wide wheels, I know I wanna run an 18 inch wheel so like, 18X10? I want a tactical looking wheel, I was thinking the American Racing, American Baja. I know they make it in polished? How about in Black? Guys post wheels that are of similar design, I think you know what I like.

Then I need some tires to wrap them up with, I was thinking 33x13.5. Who makes a decent tire in that size, that'll fit an 18x10 inch rim? Are these pipe dreams?

True true... Well my credit sucks so I had to cosign with my rent's so I'm happy to have something like this to pay for, that way I can have some credit. I'm getting really tired of only having a check card. I mean I know its the "Safe" way. But really, a guys gotta have some credit.

just my two cents, pay off the truck before you start modding. if your credit does suck and you had to get a cosigner for the loan, the last thing you should be thinking about is tactical wheels lol. just play it smart man and enjoy the major upgrade in vehicles.

99_2door, I don't think you understand the absolute obsession with vehicles I have. If I have a 3 dollars in wallet they are all immedietly spent, one for food, one for my ride, one for my woman.

My truck is officially mine as of 5PM tonight, it'll be here Friday morning!!! Can't F'N wait. I kinda feel bad for the hoe though, wish one of you true 2 door or blazer collectors/lovers would pick her up, I don't want some one to buy it and destroy it.

I know what you mean man. I can be the same way sometimes. And congrats on your new truck. If I had the cash and I lived near you, I would buy your 'Hoe and take good care of it.

that sux's bout the hoe man. if i had the cash and was lookin for another i's have to pick it up. but its far from the quad cab 3500 i'm wanting to add to the stable...

well... if i had the cash, i'd buy it, swap some parts with mine and resell it.
