Need a new one soon.

Was thinking about getting a Goodyear Gatorback if they have them out there.

IIRC, when I started to look a month or so ago, there are diff. lengths....? Truth?

I'd like to order one online, from any reputable vendor who sells a reliable belt. Doesn't necessarily have to be Goodyear.

PNs will help.

Thanks guys,

KG

can you read a part number off the old belt? I'm sure they vary in length, depending on factory options, alt size, etc.

Very good question, but I couldn't...at least not when I looked. Perhaps it could spin around to where I can read a PN. But I doubt it since it is pretty worn and cracking.

Looks like I need either PN 4060960(Alt 100A or 105A) or PN 4060967(Alt 124A or 140A)

I have AC, and it is a LT,b ut beyond that I don't know what size Alt I have.

Goodyear 4060960 is the best bet. The 967 is very uncommon.

Thanks CJ. I don't drive the truck, otherwise I'd go outside and look. I always forget to look on the weekends.

what about a 02 yukon SLT?

Should be a 4060930 (for 130a alternator)
It might be a 922 though.

You have 2 belts, a seperate one for the AC - 4040377

Both belts have a seperate tensioner.
AC belt is the most common one to go out.
