Yes bc the state of California has some of the stupidest laws I've seen.

Surprisingly CA is not one of them. You can run 37's with a 12" lift no problem.... until you are in front of a cop that is having a bad day.
In Utah, the tire has to be covered full width and 50% of it's height by some kind of flap.
