Welp its time to work on my suspension, and 04 LT, 5.3 133k.

I don't tow, and the air ride is dead and removed. I replaced the rears with some coil conversions that I don't like, and the front stock. Shocks are now bottoming to hard.

I don't tow, and carry 7 people daily driver, and prefer Cadillac ride if possible.

My shop is saying go Monroe reflex

The forum research is saying bilstein hd 5100

Help me out, I only want to do. This project once again since it took me so long the. first time

I highly recommend the Bilstein 5100 series or Rancho RS9000X. I personally like the Ranchos better because they have 9 adjustable settings so that you can adjust the ride quality to fit what you would like.

If you would like a quote on them send me a private message with your shipping information and I will get you the best price possible on either one. That being said, the Ranchos have a 90 day trial period guarantee, where you can ride them for 90 days, and if you are not satisfied you can send them back for a full refund.

So are the rancho's smoother than the hds?

I prefer a daily driver comfort ride vs a off road, and or tow based ride

They are adjustable, you can have them smoother or tighter, that is one of the reasons I like them better than the Bilsteins. With the bilstein 5100 series, the ride is a hair rougher than say the 4600 series. But like I said, with the Ranchos, they have rough HD ride, smooth ride and everything in between. With nine different settings you just can't go wrong.

I am not sure if they have a set that fits a lowered vehicle, I would need to check on that to be sure, send me the info on the vehicle and specs and I will find the ones that match if they are available.

Just FYI, there is a new vendor here that specializes in suspension stuff, although I DO sell Bilsteins and Ranchos, may I recommend we give the new vendor some support and send her a private message with your specs and information and see if they can help?

Not that I don't want the sale, but I am also for supporting those vendors that specialize in specific areas so that they get a good start.

Send them a private message here: TheSuspensionSource
