Be a aircraft tech I would rather have someone several times if not totally sure. I have seen some simple fluid or greaseing errors that can have serious consequences.

Transfer case answer in your other post every 50k should be fine.

Usually friction modifiers comes in it own little container sold seperately by the companies that make the locker. If you have got the oil type and viscosity to match then you are good it should not have modifiers added.

Sunlit, i sincerely apologize for this repetitive question, but in the most recent post, it seems there may be a contradiction for the front differential

Grade Synthetic

Grade GL-5
Viscosity 80W-90 8.25 Inch With AWD

Grade Synthetic

I myself have a '99 with push button 4WD that also has the option for AWD. B/c I have the '99, I was going back and forth on which fluid to use.

Your advice and knowledge is always welcome :)

Whoa major formatting error there copied the text with alot lot of line spaces. Must have screw it up trying to remove them. Perhaps after 1700 posts in 8 months I am getting burned out. Until I get mine finished and find some traveling money I have no job (just ain't no aircraft work in the bay area) so I spend a lot of time here.

Thanks Sunlit.

If you're interested, I believe Boeing is building plant in South Carolina if you'd like to travel. Not sure how big or the services available, but it might be worth a look if it's a fit for you.

I will probably have only a $1000 when the truck is ready so gas prices may send me to southern Cali or Arizona in a motel six till the money roles in (and right back out into the truck no doubt).

Initially.

Over time I would not mind heading east. Would even like to move to UK or japan.:mexsmoke:
