Hey guys. Longtime lurker. I recently replaced front pads and rotors due to pulsating front end. I assumed the rotors were warped even though the rotors and pads were only about a year old. I bedded in the new brakes and 5 months later I have the same pulsating front end when stopping. The rotors are ACDELCO and the pads are Power Stop Ceramic pads. Could it be the hubs and ABS sensor? Any thoughts on this are much appreciated.

Thanks,

Did you find the answer? Did it pulse the whole time? Even after pads and rotors?

The cause of this condition may be an increased air gap between the wheel speed sensor and the hub reluctor ring due to rust and debris built up on the sensor mounting surface.

I've read articles that basically point to poor quality pads causing the "warped" rotor effect.

They say its material transfer from pad to rotor and can also be caused from hot pads sitting on hot rotors at stop lights and people don't move and hold their brakes tight and pad material gradually deposits onto the rotors.

That being said, I am not familiar with the OP brand of pad choice, but my akebono pads have always been smooth until later in age and use.
