In the 17 years I've been driving, I've never once had to use a spare.

I've never gone 17 years without a flat or a blowout. Ever been anywhere where a cell phone won't work? No spare tire and no cell phone coverage can put someone up a creek without a paddle.

I don't really use my Yukon to go offroad or into places with no cell coverage, pretty much it is strictly a daily driver. To go places like that I would of kept my 7.3L

There are lots of total dead spots in Texas where no cell phone works. And they're often on roads that have little travel. I have been off of major highways in sparsely populated areas just a short distance where the cell phone has no coverage at all for mile after mile after mile after mile.

I once had an almost new tire blow out on my 1995 Chevy pickup going seventy miles an hour. I am glad I had a spare tire to put on the vehicle. It was worth getting dirty. :)

I'd hate to have to hitch a ride with someone to the nearest town. The driver might be a mass-murderer. They're out there traveling the highways. For real. :mfr_omg:

Sorry for being negative. :evillol:
