Yup, used a new o-ring each time. Covered that sucker with MAP gas and no rise in idle.
I do have the EFI LIVE scanner that I bought from Black Bear. Awesome tool and it's worth it because you can get more tunes which are included in the cost of the unit. Let me know what parameters are needed to analyze the conditions of the engine when it goes into its hissy fit.
Again, thanks to all who help on this forum. It is so awesome that we all get to bounce ideas, solutions and experience off each other!!
BTW did you have to modify the location of your fuel lines when you put in the spacer???
Yup! I was able to mostly do everything myself, but the fuel lines messed me up. I need the apprentice to come help me. Ended up removing the bolt on the tranny holding the lines, and then pulling them up to the new place. The one plug wire is bent all to hell though. Looks like hell... I can get pics if you want.
Are you getting a whining noise comming from the fuel lines up front after the spacer install? Sometimes mine whines. I know it's the fuel lines because it whines two seconds after I shut off the truck. It's not the fuel pump because that's in the back, the noise is from the front... One day I'll get around to it.
EDIT: I"m not the expert, Sunlight will chime in here, but wouldn't you want to monitor the MAF, IAC, TPS and EGR functions looking for anomalies?
