^ Do you take it offroad? Body lifts are simple if you have a hydraulic lift. Also need to make sure brake lines and such have enough length.

Instructions for the Zone BL:

Should not be hard to install, just time consuming.

Zed, if you are asking me, I do not go offroad much, I have plenty of clearance for straight line trails, I would need more for articulation when turning.

I have been looking into getting a body lift because I wouldnt mind clearing some 35's. I was hoping someone has done it so we could all see what it looks like. I wouldnt mind **** this if it looks good.

I wondering how it works for the front and rear bumper along with the trailer hitch? Can you still tow with a body Lift?

Please don't stack leveling kits. The fact that you're introducing ridiculous amounts of shear forces to these locations every time you turn, not to mention the stress that is being channeled to your mounting points will end in a very ugly mess.
Save your money, get a legitimate lift and don't be that guy that causes lives to be endangered because you wanted to sit higher.
These vehicles are great to modify but do it right, stacking leveling kits is a very dangerous way to gain height.

I think that both Zone and PA say you can't tow after you modify the rear bumper. But I don't see why not. From the pics in the instructions it appears that the rear bumper would be stronger after the Body Lift. I know that if I end up doing it this winter, I am going to use the Zone lift and will put a couple bolts in and get everything lined up, then take it back off and weld the new brackets to the bumper along with a few grade 8 bolts. When I am done with it, it will be stronger that it was from GM. I know if you search you can find a couple guys that have installed the body lifts on other forums.

I was asking the OP. Good point about the trailer hitch. I forgot that needs to be addressed. Also are the side steps mounted on the frame? If so there would be a noticable gap depending on body lift size.

I am pretty sure that the running boards attach to the body. The pics I have seen of the nnbs SUVs you can not see the frame hanging down below the body.

If you are willing to do some trimming you can run 35s with out spending $1500+. Run a 2.5" lift kit in the front and do a 2" body lift. If you are running +32mm offset and do some trimming, 35s are possible. I am running 34s with just 2.5" front lift and 1" rear lift with minimal rubbing on +32mm offset wheels. I drive 98% of the time on the street, so I do not need much clearance for articulation. If I were to decide to spend more time offroad, I would need another 3-4" of lift.

I have the same 2.5/2" am trying to figure out if the rear spacer will work with the auto ride.

Any input

I have the TG 35s" on my truck & had to cut a ton of plastic out. Plus, used an angel grinder w/ a cutting disc to trim out about 2" of metal on the left & right of each wheel well. This was front only, the rear tires fit, but very[I[/I] tight.

One of the most important clearance issuses I was confronted with was the wheel backset. The more the better, my wheel backset is 5". I think a four inch backset would be cutting it VERY close. Do not believe 35"s will fit, even with a 6" lift. You will have to hack out the front wheel wells regardless. Also had to unbolt the washerfluid reservoir & push forward a bit.
