I am using Valvoline R&P 5w-30 on my 2016 Yukon. This is the second time I change the oil b/c the first time I ran it, I heard sputtering coming from the oil filter area (I thought it was a clogged filter). The oil was only used for 1k miles, mostly short trips - sometimes 1 block, other times less than 7 miles round trip (about 10-15 min drive). I can't tell if its the oil working its magic and loosening/freeing deposits or if my engine is toast. Can anybody take a guess?
This video was recorded at night, in the driver's wheel well, that's why you can't see anything. The vehicle has never made that noise before, AFM disabled around 95k miles via tune, and driven on 5th gear before that to disable it as well.

Oil used - Valvoline R&P 5w-30
Amount - ~8 qts
Filter used - AC Delco PF63
105k miles

If you have a mechanics stethoscope, your could try to get a better feel of precisely where this new noise is coming from.

Will definitely buy one now. It seems like there’s something wrong every day now. Anyways, it’s cheaper to repair than to buy a new vehicle (in this case).
