Struts or Coil Overs Stock or +2 on 6" Lift

I've got a 2015 Yukon XL Denali.

I'm getting rid of the magnaride/airride. Which from what I understand is a change of the struts, and rear springs/shocks (not counting the warning messages and stuff).

So:

What I'm curious about it 2 things.

Stock height or +2 on the struts or coil overs.

Then is the difference between the strut vs a coil over worth it?

I'm not going to fancy, it's just going to be a rough country 6" lift so part of me wonders if it's even worth the time to consider strut vs coil over.

If you're going with the 6" RC lift, then I would take a look at their Vertex 2.5 Adj. Coilovers with dampening control.

From my experience, front coilovers are terrific; always kicking myself for not throwing down more $ and getting the remote reservoirs...
I've seen them on several Silverado trucks here in Maine and they look pretty good. They are adjustable in height and the dampening control can help you dial in the smooth ride or rougher roads.
I have not seen anyone really post on here about them, but they will certainly fit your Denali with the lift.

If you haven't chosen yet, MRC delete method? I suggest Xineering out of FL. They have a great OBDII plug-in MRC delete product that has done me well for over 100k miles.

The front suspension of our 2015-2020 1500 SUVs are the same as the 2014-2018 Silverado trucks. For sure do a Magneride delete so you don't have to deal with service messages, etc.
So, since they are the same front end, pretty much any level/lift to the front that fits that model year Silverado will fit your Denali.
Read on about coilovers, but certainly a better choice (more $) than using spacers, for many reasons.
I think that the added adjustability for ride height, and the optional dampening, gives a pretty complete package. Built by companies who specialize in shocks...
If you check out the BDS website and "build your kit" then you will see that they offer Fox coilovers with remote reservoirs and DSC with their 6" lift.
