It's surprising to see how well these 3/4T hold their value. What would an '01 Sub LT 4wd w/ 8.1 and just over 120k miles bring on the the market?

I would bet you could easily get $15k - $18k if the interior is in decent shape.

Here are some of those others for comparison;
8.1L LS trim, 137k, asking 17,900
8.1L LT trim (with typical drivers seat wear), 138k, asking $15,800
8.1L LS trim, with the 2500HD wheels, 140k, asking $12,500

Thanks

That thing is cool just for that slide out in the back. :D I don't see what it's got for engines though.

The former FD Suburban has a 6.0. The 8th digit in the VIN is U, which is LQ4 6.0. The 8.1 engine'd ones have a G for the 8th digit. 8th digit in any vehicle VIN is the engine code.

If I eventually go with the 2500 Sub or a Silverado with a Duramax, I am going to find it close to home. Long road trips are not fun unless I can hang around and amaze people how much I can drink and still talk the English language. "Know what I mean Vern?!"

Know what you mean Vern! ;) I did that road trip in June, 725 miles, Orange County to Medford. I actually kind of enjoyed the drive. Coming home I did it in one day, 12 hours with just a few stops for gas, food and bathroom.

That thing is really sharp looking! What year HD did those wheels come on?

Aren't those Denali HD rims with bowtie center caps?

2012 HD wheels

Sorry, didn't see the VIN#.
